US Navy SEALs are deployed today in numerous combat roles and various theatres of operation. SEAL Team 3 are specialists in deserts operations and have naturally seen significant action in recent times. The SEALs are expert in many tactics and among these are HAHO which is an extremely difficult insertion technique. This is involves a squad being dropped from an altitude of 30000 feet with parachute deployment at around 27000 feet and then a complex navigation to a designated target area, in some cases up to 30 miles from the release point.
