News From Tommy's Toys

September 11, 2007

Wow! Summer is almost over and school is back in session
here in the USA. How the year has flown. We hope that
everyone has had a pleasant and safe summer.

Our last Newsletter was in February. As many of you know
there has been numerous releases from the various Action
Figure companies during this time. Several of these items
we have not stocked due to a dwindling demand for the
products, in particular, 'Dragon Action Figures'. It seems
that the consumer is either bored with Dragon's excessive
release of German figures, or have moved their interests to

other manufacturers such as DiD who are making extremely
well produced pieces for a reasonable price. Perhaps Dragon

Models need to produce more figures such as their Sgt.
Jones 24th foot soldier, to bring the interest back to
their products. We will continue to carry some of Dragon's
New items, but not all.

We have been extremely busy in our retail operation in
Downtown Easton during the Spring and Summer seasons which
has delayed our emailing of the Newsletter. We have
recently updated and refreshed our website with all of the
releases that we have received during the last five months.

Some items we have plenty of stock on were other on-line
retailers have been sold out for weeks.

Ignite Co. continue to be way off target with their release

dates. The Greek Hoplite Spartan King was suppossed to
release in July but to date, he is still not out. Be sure
to check our 'coming soon' section for Ignite's extremely
limited Roman and Viking figures. These will probably be a
Holiday time release. So start your wish list early.

DiD continue to explode with new and exciting figures.
Still no word though on their next Napoleonic release date.

Rumour has it that a Japanese figure may soon be in the
works.

We are in the process of adding New items of interest onto
our website, items that have done extremely well in our
brick and mortar store as well as items that we have
stumbled across during the past several months. These items

include: Die-cast military helicopters, Military Baseball
caps and Chess Sets, full scale Military Replica Roman and
Knight helmets and shields, made by Deepeeka of India. For
those of you who collect the BBI Warriors of the World
series, you will be very interested in MODO's 'Bitz' line.
This is a UK based company that have produced a line of
Knight and Special forces figures between 3.5" and 4.5"
high, that you can build yourself as they come with all
parts removeable. We immediately wanted the product when we

first saw them. We expect to have all of these NEW items in

stock by October 1st. So keep watching!

Thank you all for your continued support of Tommy's Toys
